BRITISH EVENTING EGM

We have received a number of enquiries about the voting for/at the BE EGM.  I thought it may be helpful to outline the following:

  • If you attend the EGM you will be able to vote there on the day.
  • If you are unable to attend and you would like to vote then you MUST fill in an Extraordinary General meeting Proxy Form sent to you by email on 4th October 2018, via British Eventing. This form must be  returned by post or scanned back to British Eventing. This proxy form is specific to you – noting the Form Ref No: in the top right-hand corner. As written in the notes you can appoint a person other than the Chairman of the meeting. Where you appoint as your proxy, someone other than the Chairman, you are responsible for ensuring that they attend the meeting and are aware of your voting intentions.  Please read carefully the notes on the Proxy Form.
  • Please note that if you are not attending the meeting and do not complete your proxy form then you will have no vote.

I hope these notes are helpful and have answered some of the queries.
