I trust you are keeping well and healthy during these unusual times?
Within the next few days the Annual News Review will land on your door step if you are current member. If it doesn’t arrive, drop me an email and i’ll pop it in the post. Please accept our apologies that the hospitality dates are somewhat inaccurate along with the early event plans. As I hope you can appreciate all this went to print before the pandemic took hold. We have decided to send it out as it reflects on what a good year 2019 was for the Sport and then to wet our appetites for when the 2020 Season gets going. As and when we know more about the latter we will be posting everything on our website and social media channels.
In the interests of keeping our event horse owners community united in spirit if not through our sport, it is our intention to publish an EHOA newsletter in May. This edition is normally our Badminton special so replacing content in the dire circumstances of event cancellation is going to be a challenge. We therefore seek your input. Have you tales of an amusing horse incident to lighten the mood, or boredom-beating training advice to share? Or a photograph of a riding incident that is so hilarious we could use it as the subject of a caption competition? Or even a ‘staying away in the lorry’ recipe? We really are relying on you to contribute.
