Plum Rowland Criteria in 2019
The Plum Rowland trophy is awarded to an U21 rider who competes in the OIU21 classes run at BE events in 2019.
The top ten riders in each OIU21 section are awarded points. 10 to the winner, 9 to second, 8 to third and so on so that the rider that comes in 10th is awarded 1 point.
At Houghton, where the U21 riders compete in the Young Rider section the points are doubled, ie the winner receives 20 points and the runner up 18 points and so on.
At the end of the season these points are added up to produce the winner of the trophy. The winner is then invited to the EHOA Annual Dinner and Awards evening as a guest of the Association to collect their trophy.
The recipients of this award have been:
2018: Bubby Upton
2017: Felicity Collins
2016: Emily King
