Cornbury House Horse Trials

Dear Owners

In just over six weeks’ time, eventing’s top names as well as some of the finest up-and-coming young horses and riders will compete in a five-day sporting spectacular here at Cornbury – Cornbury House Horse Trials (10-14 September).

Now in its sixth year, David Howden and his family have worked tirelessly to continue to evolve this unique event in the heart of the Cotswolds and this year’s event promises to be extra special. Alongside the top-class sport, there will be premium hospitality, the finest locally sourced food and drink farms PLUS loads of additional entertainment for the whole family.

For owners interested in purchasing hospitality at the event and following the success of last year, The Endless Lunch by Mirabeau will return again on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September.Guests will enjoy an informal dining experience all day while watching the live action from the marquee which overlooks the main showjumping arena. Locally sourced and seasonal menus will be on offer throughout the afternoon, all accompanied by Mirabeau rosé, and we really hope that owners with competing horses will make a real day of it and book a spot with family and friends. For further details about what’s on offer, simply click here.

Special offer: For owners with competing horses, we are delighted to offer you a special price of £55 per person, but please note, spaces are selling extremely quickly so we would encourage you to book today, if you wish to secure your space, as it will sell out. Please use the following exclusive link and should you book for additional guests, you will need to add on General Admission tickets during the purchase process – Book Here

We can’t wait to welcome you to Cornbury House Horse Trials this year.

Best Wishes,

Update

A few updates for you

  1. Alex Wakeley, our chair has done a mid-season update. Please find it here.
  2. Delighted to include details below from the Georgie Campbell Foundation.
  3. Details on Aston International coming tomorrow morning (Thursday) along with the other weekend events.

Burghley XC preview, drinks and charcuterie fundraiser in support of the Georgie Campbell Foundation

Date: Friday 5th September

Time: 5-7pm

Location: EHOA Tent, Burghley Horse Trials

Tickets: EHOA members £35 / non-members £45 – available on a first come, first served basis and don’t include Burghley admission tickets.

Join the Georgie Campbell Foundation and EHOA for a special evening of drinks, charcuterie, great company, and a fundraising auction in support of the Foundation which has been created by a collection of people who love and deeply miss five-star event rider Georgie, following her death last May.

This event will be a fantastic opportunity to discuss the dressage standings, network, and enjoy a cross-country preview panel discussion. Your participation will help raise funds for a great cause and help honour Georgie’s legacy through the improvement of cross-country safety and the provision of support to the next generation of event riders.

Don’t miss out on what promises to be a memorable evening in support of a wonderful cause. Book now to secure your place and we look forward to seeing you there.
