Yesterday saw the start of Barbury International Horse Trials in the rolling hills just outside Marlborough. If you have never attended the details you need are: Barbury Castle Estate, Rockley, SN8 1RS.
The EHOA have their normal hospitality marquee situated on the bank over-looking the rolling hills and the cross county course, just around the corner from the secretaries marquee. Do pop in and say hello, help yourself to a nice cool refreshing drink. There is some food available, but you will have to ask as we do not want to leave it out in the heat. As per normal – teas and coffees available alongside newspapers and some stimulating conversation.
Shaws Iberian one of the new EHOA discount providers is also at Barbury this weekend and is offering to deliver you your beverages to the hospitality marquee if you order them at their stand. Who could refuse this? Don’t forget to use your discount too!
Tomorrow sees the start of Buckminster Park and Tweseldown. The former held at Buckminster, Grantham NG33 5SD. Just a word of warning competitors have been asked to print their numbers on pink paper if you have some at home. Tweseldown details – Tweseldown racecourse, Church Crookham, GU52 8AD
As normal – all scores can be found on www.eventingscores.co.uk but be warned that mobile signal is not fabulous in the valley at Barbury!
Wishing everyone out and about this weekend the best of luck. Don’t forget your sun cream and some water. It’s going to be hot!
