Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials

This will be of interest for those planning on going to Burghley in September.

The Stable Field Passes – granted by Burghley to the EHOA as a special benefit –  are available only to our paid up members (not for additional family etc). They are solely for access, on foot, to the Stable Field and do not gain entrance to the event.

All tickets will be named, recorded and are non transferable.

Those wishing to apply should send a stamped addressed envelope, by 6 August,  to Margie Hall, The Close, Church Street, Great Chesterford Saffron Walden, Essex CB10 1NP

Blair Castle Equi Trek International Horse Trials competition

The team at Blair Castle have very generously offered the below.

WIN a free camping pitch plus Membership for 2 adults for this year’s Blair Castle International Horse Trials, 24th – 27th August. (Children under 12 have free entry)

To enter simply send an email headed BLAIR to: alex.vantuyll@gmail.com and one lucky winner will be pulled out of the hat on August 1st. Entries close at noon on July 31st.

In addition to the Horse Trials and Country Fair there will be a 9 hole Texas Scramble golf tournament for teams of 4 at Blair Atholl Golf Club on the Thursday, £12 per person. Clubs and trolleys can be hired.

Terms and Conditions

The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable. There will be no cash alternative.

Your details will not be shared with any other source.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

Closing date for entry will be July 31st 2017 at noon. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions.

The winner will be notified by email within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Nunney International Horse Trials 16th – 18th June 2017

We had a great time at the Nunney International Horse Trials 16th – 18th June 2017.

Tor Rickord ran the EHOA Tent, ably assisted by Sarah Pelham and Sophie Douglas.  It was great to see so many owners over the weekend.

Thanks go to the Organisers and their team who did an amazing job during the weekend.   Helen West’s new course met with praise from the comptitors.

Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials.

Yet another brilliant week in Yorkshire at Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials.

Many thanks to everyone that helped in the marquee during the 4 days.

Congratulations to the winning connections of Izzy Taylor, winners of the CIC; Will Furlong, winners of the CCI3* U25

Yoshi Oiwa,won the CCI3* . An historic win as Yoshi became the first ever Japanese rider to win an CCI outside Japan.

Special thanks to Richard and Alyse Clancey from the EHOA & Owners of competing horses for their Sponsorship this weekend at Bramham.  The coffee vouchers were VERY gratefully received by all Owners!
