Little Downham.

On Tuesday you will find a cracking day of sport at Little Downham.

Location: Ely Eventing Centre, Downham Common, Little Downham, Ely, Cambs, CB6 2TY

Event Specifics:

  1. Complimentary entry for everyone.
  2. No electric bikes on XC course when course is live.
  3. Equireel onsite filming.
  4. Dogs on leads

Generously, the Little Downham team are welcoming owners of competing horses to join them for a light lunch in the Officials barn. 

Please RSVP no later than 10:00 am MONDAY to littledownhamht@gmail.com to indicate attendance. Owners will then need to collect a lunch ticket from the Info Point adjacent to showjumping. Lunch will be available between 12-2PM.

The British Eventing Support Trust Winter Ball

We are delighted to announce that the British Eventing Support Trust’s glittering Winter Ball returns to The Savoy, London on Saturday 29 November 2025. This prestigious evening brings together friends and supporters of our sport for a night of elegance, entertainment and fundraising in support of event riders’ wellbeing.

Guests will enjoy a black-tie occasion with a champagne reception, dinner, dancing and the chance to bid on exclusive prizes in our silent auction. Most importantly, every ticket purchased, and every bid placed will help the British Eventing Support Trust continue its vital work supporting the mental and physical wellbeing of British Eventing competing members.

Tickets are now available to book, with two tiers of pricing:

£250 per person – seated on a table of 10 or 12

£350 per person – seated in a prime location in the ballroom, with two bottles of champagne on the table

Aspen Cooling Osberton International

Some information for our grassroots members ahead of the Aspen Cooling Osberton International (2) which runs from 1st – 5th October 2025.

We are supporting the team at Osberton by awarding additional prize money for the highest placed EHOA member in the CCI1*-Intro and BE105 Amateur class. To be eligible for these prizes you will need to register via the BEDE website. For ease here is the link: https://bede-events.co.uk/leagues/

Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials

The European Championships start today morning at 10:30 at Blenheim Palace.

The EHOA have a hospitality marque alongside the main Championship Palace arena and we are looking forward to welcoming all members. Newspapers, tea / coffee and limited snacks on offer alongside 2 televisions showing the action. We also have a garden overlooking the Palace arena so you won’t miss the action from the Championships. Guests are permitted if space allows! £10 per person in cash please. The card machine was not enjoying the lack of signal today. Please download a copy of the running order to your phone or print it off before you come. The start list can be found here: https://bpiht.co.uk/results/#18sept Results will be on the big screens. Just a heads up there are no paper copies of running lists so come prepared!

For those members that have never been to Blenheim before you must enter via the Palace grounds via the Hensington Gate – postcode OX20 1UL and follow the parking directions. Parking is free.

The 8/9 CCI4*S dressage can be found the Churchill arena – just below the Pony Club jumping arena and before the main trade stand complex.

On Friday afternoon at 16:30 Lycetts are hosting a drinks reception for all EHOA members in our hospitality marquee. Tim Slinger and his team are looking forward to seeing you.

You will need to show your 2025 membership card to access the marquee.

Cornbury House Horse Trials

Tomorrow sees the starts of Cornbury International.

Location: Cornbury Park, Charlbury, Oxon OX7 3EW

Event Specifics:

Directions: Please enter via the Finstock road (B4022) – follow the yellow signs on approach. Charlbury has a one way section – you have been warned!

Passes – should you have a horse competing you will receive an e-ticket. This will have been sent to only the registered owners on the email logged on your profile page at British Eventing. Upto 3 registered pairs of Owners will receive an e-ticket.

All registered owners of COMPETING horses will be able to access the Owner hospitality Please be aware that on this occasion it is not hosted by the EHOA.

Owner hospitality is situated next to the main arena. On offer complimentary tea & coffee, light refreshments. Available to purchase: Hawkstone Cider & Lager alongside Mirabeau Wine.

Onsite photographer – 1st Class images

Horse & Country will be live streaming the action from Thursday.

Equireel will be filming the action should you wish to purchase your horses’ rounds. Contact them directly for the order process.

Limited tickets available in hospitality on Sunday if anyone is interested. Book via the Cornbury website.
