We are delighted to announce that ZIP Travel have been in contact to say they are organising an equestrian trip to the eventing World Championships this September to Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy.
ZIP travel are very generously offering current EHOA members a discount to those that book the tour through them. There will be more details coming out in the next couple of weeks so keep your eyes peeled! They have asked those interested parties to get in touch with Ian Dennis directly on: email@example.com quoting your membership number.
Ian Dennis, director of Zip travel, has also offered to assist EHOA members in booking travel and other trips members might be interested in, again please contact Ian.
Really hope some members will take up this offer from ZIP travel and support the equestrian teams heading to the World Championships this Summer.
One of our partners, Weatherbys Private Bank, would like to invite our members to an exclusive Cheltenham Preview Night ahead of the Festival next month. This invitation-only event will be taking place on Thursday, 3 March at 6.30pm via Zoom.
There is a star-studded panel who will share their expert opinions to help guide you through all four days of the action.
Limited places are available and we anticipate a full house, so please register here to avoid disappointment.

The EHOA has received a very friendly invitation from the Comité Equestre de Saumur as it announces the upcoming Saumur Complet event in France which includes CCI4*-L, CCI3*-S, CCI2*-L and CCI1* Intro classes. The committee generously informs us that all members of the Event Horse Owner Association will have access to the on-site owners’ area. The invitation extends to both those who have entered horses and those who do not. Why not make a mini break of it?
The event takes place from 28 April to 1st May 2022 at the Hippodrome de Verrie. The Organisers are able to help you organise your stay in Saumur, with packages and hotel suggestions, as well as restaurant and activity options. Contact Helka Tervonen Nahvandy firstname.lastname@example.org
Admission to the event is free but for EHOA spectators planning to use the owners’ area it is necessary to register in advance to be accredited. Please e-mail the names of attendees and any questions to: email@example.com

Youth Programme Overview
The philosophy on Youth Programmes is to:
Develop a programme which encourages members to stay engaged with the sport at the end of it, whether they have experienced Championship success or not
Enable independent well-educated riders who take responsibility for their own performances and have a no excuse attitude towards training and competition
Continue to facilitate success at senior level with more support offered to those transitioning out of YRs (21-28 years)
Win team and individual gold medals at Junior and Young Rider Europeans
The Youth Pathway comprises the BE Regional Youth Programme, that incorporates training for athletes aged 12-21 along with competition at BE90 Open to BE Open Intermediate U21, progressing to Regional Academies, the first performance-focused step and the first selective environment for athletes, and teams comprising the best regional athletes.
International Development Squads select athletes aged between 12-21 qualified for international competition. The European Championship Squads comprise athletes selected to compete at the annual Pony, Junior, and Young Rider European Championships, whilst the British Eventing 4* Academy provides a stepping-stone for athletes transitioning from the British Eventing Youth Pathway into the World Class Pathway. The World Class Podium Potential Pathway identifies young athletes who demonstrate the potential to progress to Podium Potential level in the future.
