This season The Gemini Stud are offering a generous 5% discount to EHOA Members who use their Eventing stallions.
The Gemini Stud was founded 3 generations ago by George Miller who bred full Thoroughbreds for Racing, Showing and Eventing and today is run by George’s daughter Georgie Belton. The Gemini Stud have previously won the British Eventing Breeding Young Horse Championships and have bred multiple horses to British Eventing Advanced Level. This season they will continue to stand Classic Opera at stud for both chilled and frozen semen and his full brother The Classic Composer will compete at CCI4* with a former Team GBR and British Eventing top 20 rider.
There is still limited semen available for Classic Primitive who was the only sire to have two or more progeny in the British Eventing 8 & 9 year old Advanced Class at Aston Le Walls last summer. This year sees the debut of Gemini’s new colt Churchill III in the Show Ring who is out of the dam of the Advanced Eventer The Classic Composer and by a son of the Show Jump stallion Christian.
Gemini Stud’s stallion Classic Opera was ranked in the top 12 stallions in Great Britain by Horse & Hound in 2019, was a B.E. Event winner on his dressage score as a 5 year old and used on a Burghley CCI5* mare in his first season at Stud. For those interested in breeding a Burghley Young Event Horse it is worth noting that Classic Opera sired a phenomenal 13 winners at County level last season; which is quite a feat as he was only 7 years old at the time.
